Previously registered as an RN in Canada
If you are an RN who was previously registered in another Canadian province or territory or are currently registered in another Canadian province or territory and you wish to be registered in PEI, you must complete a new application for registration through the Applicant Portal. You will need verification from all jurisdictions where you are registered currently and have been registered previously. This process can take 6-12 weeks depending on the jurisdiction and affect the processing time to complete your application.
If you are not eligible for registration as you are not able to meet currency requirements you may be interested in a Re-Entry Program. You can find information about the Re-Entry Program in the menu on the left.
