Provisional Registration

The provisional class of registration of RNs is available for applicants that do not meet the registration requirement of currency of professional knowledge and skill (hours requirement). In order to have a provisional class registration the applicant must find a clinical setting whose manager is willing to provide a mentoring opportunity for the required number of hours. Once the currency requirement is met, the RN moves to a general class registration.
